Community Beach Cleanup Day

Community Beach Cleanup Day is a volunteer-driven environmental initiative focused on removing litter and debris from local beaches and shoreline areas. This recurring event brings residents, students, and organizations together to protect marine habitats while preserving the natural beauty of the coastline.
Through hands-on cleanup efforts and environmental education, participants gain a greater understanding of how pollution impacts ocean ecosystems and wildlife.
The mission of Community Beach Cleanup Day is to promote environmental stewardship and community responsibility while reducing coastal pollution.
The event includes:
- Organized Cleanup Efforts: Volunteers work in designated shoreline zones to collect trash and debris.
- Waste Sorting & Documentation: Collected waste is categorized to help track pollution trends and support research.
- Environmental Education: Participants learn about waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable practices.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Gloves, bags, and supplies are provided.
