The Mentorship for First-Generation Students program supports students who are the first in their families to pursue higher education. By connecting students with mentors, the program provides guidance, encouragement, and resources to navigate academic and career pathways.
Through mentorship and skill-building support, students gain confidence and access to opportunities that support long-term success.
The mission of the program is to empower first-generation students through guidance, educational support, and access to resources.
The program includes:
- One-on-One Mentorship: Students receive guidance from trained mentors and professionals.
- Academic & Career Guidance: Support with goal setting, study strategies, and career exploration.
- College Navigation Support: Assistance understanding admissions processes and campus resources.
The program is open to high school and college-bound students.
