The Ocean Ecosystem Education Program is a community learning program designed to deepen public understanding of marine habitats, biodiversity, and coastal environmental systems. Through structured workshops and expert-led sessions, participants gain insight into how ocean ecosystems function and why they are essential to both wildlife and human communities.

Through interactive presentations, visual demonstrations, and guided discussions, the series builds environmental literacy and encourages responsible ocean stewardship.

The mission of the Ocean Ecosystem Education Program is to promote awareness of marine ecosystems while equipping community members with knowledge that supports conservation and sustainable coastal living.

The series includes:

  • Expert-Led Workshops: Marine scientists and environmental educators present topics such as coral reefs, estuaries, food webs, and ocean currents.
  • Interactive Learning Activities: Participants engage in ecosystem simulations, specimen demonstrations, and visual learning tools.
  • Community Dialogue Sessions: Open discussions allow attendees to explore local environmental challenges and potential solutions.

Sessions are open to students, families, educators, and residents interested in marine science.
