Coastal Dune Restoration Project

August 1 @ 6:00 am August 8 @ 3:00 pm

The Coastal Dune Restoration Project is an environmental conservation program dedicated to protecting and restoring coastal dune ecosystems. Dunes serve as natural barriers against storms and erosion while providing habitat for native wildlife and plants.

Through restoration activities and environmental education, participants help strengthen coastal resilience and protect fragile ecosystems.

The mission of the Coastal Dune Restoration Project is to preserve coastal landscapes through habitat restoration and community stewardship.

The project includes:

  • Habitat Restoration Activities: Volunteers assist with planting native dune vegetation and stabilizing sand areas.
  • Erosion Prevention Efforts: Participants help install protective barriers and dune supports.
  • Environmental Education Workshops: Learn about the ecological importance of dunes and coastal protection.

No prior experience is required; training is provided on-site.
