Disaster Preparedness Volunteer Network
July 19 @ 6:00 am – July 23 @ 3:00 pm

The Disaster Preparedness Volunteer Network is a community-based initiative focused on strengthening local readiness and response during emergencies such as hurricanes, severe storms, and coastal flooding. This program trains volunteers to assist with preparedness efforts and support recovery operations when needed.
Through education, training, and coordinated response planning, the network enhances community resilience and promotes public safety.
The mission of the Disaster Preparedness Volunteer Network is to equip residents with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively during emergencies while supporting coordinated community response efforts.
The network includes:
- Emergency Preparedness Training: Volunteers receive instruction in safety procedures, communication protocols, and basic disaster response skills.
- Community Awareness Campaigns: Educational outreach helps residents prepare emergency kits and evacuation plans.
- Response Support Coordination: Trained volunteers assist with information distribution and post-event support efforts.
Volunteers must complete required training before participating in response activities.
