At Shark Tooth Bay, we know that people are busy, thus events that allow for powerful learning experiences that do not require long term commitments are key. Our research events are centered around giving students, families and community members a chance to explore marine science in an engaging setting.
These events are centered around the real world research taking place at the Shark Tooth Bay Research Institute. Participants can gain insight into current shark studies, conservation initiatives and discoveries in marine biology. Through guidance of experiences scientists, educators and industry professionals, each event is designed to make research approachable for all ages.
Event activities might include equipment demonstrations, interactive simulations, challenges, conservation briefings, guided tours, and forums with current researchers.
