RESEARCH INSTITUTE AT SHARK TOOTH BAY
The Research Institute at Shark Tooth Bay is the scientific and educational center of our community. The institute was established as a resource to study, protect, and celebrate the beautiful marine life of Shark Tooth Bay. Our institute allows researchers, educators, students, and community members to come together to better understand our coastal environment.
Shark Tooth Bay prides itself in being more than just a vacation spot. Our community serves as a living classroom, allowing the citizens to explore the world of marine science through programs, clubs, events, internships and so much more.
Shark tooth bay’s research MISSION
The mission of the Research Institute at Shark Tooth Bay is to advance our community’s understanding of the coastal ecosystems found in our very own community. We at Shark Tooth Bay believe that through research and education we can foster informed advocacy to spread environmental awareness and protect our precious coastline, waters and marine life.
Through science, education, collaboration, and hands-on-learning, we strive to ensure that Shark Tooth Bay fosters a home for discovery and curiosity for everyone.
